A true melding of Art and Science, this project puts the A in STEAM. Campers constructed a large pendulum, lots of plastic sheeting was used to prevent paint going everywhere and each camper chose where their canvas would be placed. They then each had a turn to choose a color and release the pendulum. This excellent collaborative project sparks inquiry into physics while creating a beautiful work of art.
